There are four characters: Jeong-ho, Su-jin, In-ju, and Yu-jeong. They are all involved in the arts. Jeong-ho and Su-jin are lovers, but Su-jin is seeing another man without Jeong-ho’s knowledge. In-ju has a crush on Jeong-ho and wants to confess it to him. Yu-jeong also has her own story. The film calmly develops each of their stories until the middle. After the midpoint, it seeks a significant structural change. In this film, time no longer flows in order. Merely Known as SometHING Else is the second feature by director Jo Heeyoung, who debuted with The Continuing Land (2022). The film features characters crossing paths in the same space without knowing each other, time from today and yesterday intervening in each other’s dimensions, which makes the distinction between fact and truth ambiguous. The solid cinematography is excellent, and the virtue of the film lies in its attempt at a complex, multi-dimensional structure, which enhances the emotional resonance rather than the narrative.
Caleb is a metalhead loner who becomes obsessed with his new coworker, Krista. Determined to make a film about his newfound “object of beauty,” he begins invading every aspect of Krista’s life. As his infatuation escalates from inappropriate to criminal, we are left questioning who is really watcHING whom.

Bernardo and Esperanza met in Bilbao in 1978, when both were students at university in the midst of the turbulent political circumstances of the time. They had an on-off relationship - brimming with passionate encounters and inexplicable misunderstandings - until in 2001, during a trip to Havana to visit the aunt and cousin she had never met, the two forever went their different ways.
Two years have passed since we left Daniele and the ship of madmen. Many tHINGs have changed: Daniele and Nina have become the parents of little Maria and shortly after her birth they separated. We find them fighting for custody of the little girl with the support of their respective, very different families. Daniele, after the intense experience he had during the CHT week, has chosen to become a nurse and, thanks to the intervention of Dr. Cimaroli, he is about to enter as an intern in the hospital where he was admitted. He has five weeks to demonstrate to the judge that this can become a stable job, establisHING himself as a reliable parent. In this new role, Daniele gets to know the new patients in the dormitory, who force him to reflect on his excessive empathy towards the pain of others, and who risk derailing him again.

Seo-jun, a young pianist from an underprivileged background, manages to study classical piano with the aid of a scholarship with the help of renowned pianist Eun-jung Son. His goal is to win an international competition but he is repeatedly defeated by his rival, Min-jae. After failing to win, out of frustration, he vandalizes in the waiting room. Ji-soo witnesses his misdemeanor and blackmails him to manipulate him. Seo-jun and Jisoo develop a romantic relationship and he finds out that she plays jazz piano. He became passionate about jazz piano as well, performing in jazz clubs, and distracted from classical piano. Eun-jung discovers his behavior and disapproves of it, and thus considers cutting the scholarship off him. Seo-jun gets one last chance to compete in a competition before his military enlistment but learns that Min-jae is also participating. Can Seo-jun prove his worth and forge his path as a pianist?
