JaMal Hindawi (50), Palestinian, lives with his family in Shatila camp in Beirut, where he makes political theatre. He is currently working on a play that tells the story of an old jacket that symbolises the Palestinian identity. But the evening before the premiere, JaMal loses the theatre prop. He starts a nightly journey through the streets of Beirut and is confronted with a city in radical transition.
Helena is a paramedic, a professional caretaker who paradoxically doesn’t know how to care for her teenage daughter Stefi when she gets on a dangerous and self-destructive path. As a woman of action rather than talk, Helena prepares an extreme plan to secretly kidnap and lock the girl up, far away from the evil world. But things don't work out as planned. An unexpected chain of events throws Helena into a state of shock and forces her to find an entirely new meaning for her motherly love.

Mom and Dad have just moved into a new house and are preparing for their Baby daughter's first birthday. Balancing between work and family, Dad buys a gift in an unusual children's store without even looking into the box. And there are sMall animated toys - Malyshariki. While the parents are preparing for the holiday, the little ones get out of the box and go in search of their own house.
The plot is set in 1996. The protagonist is 15-year-old Valeska, who goes on holiday to Crete with her mother, her mum’s new boyfriend and the latter's daughter. First, Valeska is reluctant, but slowly, the two girls get to know and appreciate each other. While they become as close as sisters, their parents' relationship is much more fragile.
Two ghost-hunting detectives venture into the heart of a highly haunted complex of horrors. As the night develops, they uncover disturbing revelations about the hauntings at the location and must fight for their lives to escape.

This film is a very personal account of moments lived by the director with her father. A personal account, yet told with the proper distance, in that cinema is ever-present between father and daughter: as a passion, a life choice, and a way of being in the world. Cinema as a web that underlies the story of their exchanges and creates a space for imagination. “With cinema,” the father says, “you can escape. With your own mind”. Images are sparked by memories and like memories amplify a few notable markers while erasing others. Spare images, where there is hardly anything other than the two of them, and the marker that is present always has something monstrous about it: large things are exceptionally large; distant things are incredibly far; sunbeams are ablaze; nearby things are much too close. As for the movie sets, however, everything is in excess: confusion, urgency, people, noise—and everything here is also amplified. In these sets is the thrill of communal life. The ones featured in the film are those of Pinocchio, built in the middle of nowhere in the barren countryside.
