Nel 2000 Oliviero Toscani accetta l’invito di Giancarlo Politi di Flash Art a curare una sezione della prima edizione della Biennale di Tirana. Il grande fotografo presenta quattro artisti scandalosi: pornografi, jihadisti, pedofili… In realtà i quattro artisti non esistono, così come Oliviero Toscani mai si è prestato a un’operazione del genere: a ideare tutta la beffa è stato un provocatore di Cogoleto, Marco Lavagetto, che ha un lavoro ufficiale nel ramo delle pompe funebri. Lucibello ricostruisce questa storia come un gioco di scatole cinesi che svela man mano la verità, tra un finto Toscani interpretato da Bebo Storti e un vero Toscani che interviene con ironico disincanto; e quando compare il vero ideatore della beffa, chi può dirci che sia davvero lui? Tra scherzi e paradossi, la riflessione riguarda anche il fatto che critici e istituzioni ormai non hanno Più alcuna capacità di certificare che cosa è arte e cosa no.
Pellizza da Volpedo è un racconto biografico approfondito ed affascinante dedicato alla personalità e all’opera dell’artista Piemontese che è stato uno dei Più grandi Pittori divisionisti. Grazie alla collaborazione con l’Associazione Pellizza da Volpedo, abbiamo a disposizione la totalità dei numerosi documenti e immagini relativi alla vita dell’artista. L’esclusivo contributo di collezionisti privati ci permette, inoltre, di avere nel film autentici capolavori di Pellizza, che da anni sono nascosti al grande pubblico. Un attore di grande carisma sarà il nostro narratore; con le sue capacità interpretative conferirà al film un ulteriore valore comunicativo ed espressivo. La narrazione storica e scientifica sarà affidata ad interviste ad autorevoli personalità come Aurora Scotti (storica dell'arte), Pierluigi Pernigotti (storico di Volpedo), Carolyn Christov, Bakargiev (direttrice del Castello di Rivoli), Paola Zatti (conservatore della Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Milano).
Un documentario in prima persona, in cui il regista Saeid Shahparnia rivolge la sua attenzione alla bellezza attonita e immortale delle architetture urbane per mettere in relazione la sua vita con la storia di due città: Qazvin, in Iran, dove è nato e cresciuto, e Roma, in cui vive da ormai quindici anni. I temi convocati sono importanti e stimolanti: il significato profondo della bellezza e della memoria, il senso di appartenenza che ciascuno avverte nei confronti dei luoghi che lo hanno formato, la necessità di preservare il passato e proteggere il patrimonio urbano. Soprattutto, però, grazie anche agli interventi di personalità come Massimiliano Fuksas, Mehdi Mojabi, Ardeshir Shojaei Kaveh, Mehrzad Parhizkari e Umberto CropPi, emerge una riflessione sul legame inseparabile che intreccia identità individuale e collettiva.

At Christine's funeral, her foster son suddenly shows up, a grown-up man with whom the family has been out of contact for quite some time. He brought a letter, stating that Christine wants to be buried in Wentelen, to the bewilderment of her biological children, and even more so to that of her husband. In addition to that, all the relatives are surprised that the foster son of Christine apparently maintained a correspondence with Christine. Nevertheless, Christine's last wish is respected, and they decided to bury her in Wentelen, and wish to do so traditionally, meaning: walking behind the hearse. During a walk of several days, all the relatives (foster sisters, foster father, alleged friends and real ones, the foster son, lovers) have enough time to get to know each other better. Because in the end they have no other conclusion than that nobody really knew anyone. Old intrigues are dug up, the foster sisters finally learn why the foster brother just disappeared from the family, and they can begin to develop a real image of the mother. Once Christine's final resting place is reached and she is buried, all family ties, good and bad, are shaken around.
