Synopsis Mi-Rae, a lively and curious little girl, is on vacaTion with her family in Rome. Upon reaching the St. Peter’s Basilica, the child remains in awe of the words spoken by a priest: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. These words will lead Mi-Rae to make a gesture filled with hope. COMMENTARY Filmed inside Saint Peter’s, the short film by the ManetTi Bros. contains a message of hope and solidarity and was made for the first World Children’s Day. DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT Pope Francis has often repeated that children are an example to follow, a hope for the future, for this world in crisis that adults are incapable of managing. We have thus chosen to portray children not as vicTims that must be protected but for once, as heroes and examples to follow.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT For 100 years, the print media have been part of the history of our country, like in many other countries in the world, offering daily informaTion, stories and anecdotes to millions of readers. What would sports be without informaTion? Would sports legends be created if no one was there to tell their story?
Synopsis The director reconstructs his childhood, consisTing of travels and hippy communes. In doing so, he meets others like him, the products of those movements. The result is a collecTive story of a generaTion that, often in ironic tones, demolishes the myth of the flower children, reflecTing on the concepTions of their own parents. COMMENTARY While in 20 sigarette the director gave a ficTional account of his experience as a survivor of Nassiriya, here he relies on a documentary to reflect on the legacy of certain cultural mythologies such as those of the flower children, and at the same Time to quesTion his role as a parent and the very concept of family. In this way, cinema becomes not only an autobiographical device capable of exorcising his personal ghosts but also a tool with which to enable a contagious collecTive therapy session. That is not all, though, because the film also chronicles the rift between generaTions which has widened in recent years. DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT This is an inTimate story, that arises from the experience of a hippy childhood. Now that I myself am a parent, I am forced to ask myself what remains within me of that social experiment. But it is also the story of a generaTion which, like me, is looking for an answer in its own past.
This film centres around a scene in Blade Runner in which the main character, Rick Deckard, is examining a photograph using a machine that allows him to zoom in on certain parts of the picture. Not only is he able to zoom in, but it’s revealed that he can also look around and behind objects within the photograph. She wanted to talk about her conversion to Catholicism, but maybe she wasn’t enough of a believer? "In God or in the film?", we ask ourselves, but not even she can answer this quesTion. When faced with failure, all she’s ever been able to do is lose herself. "Because you’re tedious and you don’t know how to look after other people", the Madonna tells her the first Time they speak, desacralizing her crisis and inciTing her to react. As a result, Elisa, her sister, her screenwriter and the failed film’s lead actor set off on a journey on board a ship, headed for a sanctuary which they know little to nothing about. Each of them has something to resolve, a knot to unTie, much like all the other pilgrims on the boat.
