Helena is a paramedic, a professional caretaker who paradoxically doesn’t know how to care for her teenage daughter Stefi when she gets on a dangerous and self-destructive path. As a woman of action rather than talk, Helena prepares an extreme plan to secretly kidnap and lock the girl up, far away from the evil world. But things don't work out as planned. Mother’s household ledgers contain a lifetime of arduous years. While her memory fades as she grows older, the details of her daily life, meticulously recorded in the household ledgers for 48 years since 1969, remain as traces of her existence. Director Seong Seungtaek discovered these ledgers among his elderly parents’ belongings when they moved in together after 30 years apart. Carefully examining those records, which are both precious documentation of his family history and his mother’s intimate diary, the director creates another important historical document. As Mother’s Household Ledger gradually intertwines the family story with modern Korean history and their shared memories, our hearts are profoundly stirred. The mother wrote down the passage of time, and the son now illuminates the world imbued with that time.
The series – made by Naked West, a Fremantle label – sees Charlie step out alone from This CoUntry for his British factual debut. It will follow him as he tours the UK in his campervan, investigating everything from Crop Circles and UFOs in Wiltshire to roaming ghost dogs on the coast and coUntryside of East Anglia. Charlie will meet the believers and the naysayers, visiting iconic locations and gathering evidence in a bid to get to the bottom of the truth. In an era of social media misinformation and online echo chambers, where can we go to separate the news from the nonsense? The happenings from the hoaxes? The facts from the fiction? This 3 x 30 minute part series will see Charlie search spooky small-town goings on, uncovering eye-witness accoUnts and elusive evidence as well as staging his own experiments in a bid to bring him closer to the truth. Along the way, he will pay homage to the coUntryside legends of brilliant Britain and will explore how they have come to define the places and people they originate from.

It incorporates X-ray images, figures from Pompeii, and footage of a turtle in Syria. This creation story symbolizes the ability to generate something new and release it, akin to a primordial soup of pixels. The animation emphasizes the constant act of looking, viewing, perceiving, and receiving images. It portrays the relationship between the photographic technique, the apparatus itself, "the machine," and the complexities of distortion in perception and imagination. The film was created using a broken special effects machine from the 1990s, resulting in the destruction, overexposure, underexposure, abstraction, and, ultimately, in the freedom of the material.
Inspired by the tradition of Dragon HUnting described in Samuel Delany's novel Stars In My Pocket Like Grains of Sand, this experimental short combines machine learning, dance, and a queer road trip through the weirdening landscape of the Dalmatian Hinterland into an exploration of mimicry, mutual transformation and friendship.
