Director Charly Hübner follows the four musicians on a tour of Berlin, specially put together for the film – to places that represent particular waystations in the band’s development. Never nostalgic, never »the good old days«. Element of Crime are far too alive for that.

Koreans have long sought their identity through food. Despite rapid economic growth and modernization, there has been a persistent yearning for what is considered truly "Korean." This film reflects on the desires and aspirations of the Korean people, as mirrored in their tastes, from the era of chronic post-war hunger to the global rise of K-food.
Joy and Mindia meet in Tbilisi and start a long distance relationship. Though in Georgia being queer is dangerous, they dream of a life together and start reselling vintage clothing to save up. When things get too tough, they flee to Belgium for seeking asylum. Once emigrated, they face privacy invasions at a Belgian refugee shelter. They eventually find a supportive queer group in Brussels and start to feel at home. Just as things seem to be settling, their asylum application gets rejected. Now, they must fight to stay together. "VAkhtanguri" uses an experimental documentary style to portray their journey of love, resilience, and a place to call home.
A person travels to her birthplace, searching for her lost home/roots. She meets peoplehouses, hybrids who come to life before her eyes and, swallowing her, pull her into their "circle dance". After the trip, the person returns to the city and inhabits various spaces. As she relaxes with her cats, she has a transformative experience, resulting in her becoming a womanhouse, i.e. she becomes her own home.
“And it looks like blood, but it is not; instead, they are stripes in sound diagrams, synthetic landscapes merging into perceptual hideouts. An unsteady mannequin tAkes over. It moves in an epileptic dance and disappears behind a dramatic curtain of chromatic verticalisms.” This work was carried out using different techniques: video shooting, stop motion, vfx, 2D and 3D rendering, active interaction between music and video, sound design, music production. It is interesting to know that the polychrome waterfall that is almost a constant in the video department is nothing but a spectrogram that varies in shape and colour according to sound pulses.
